Androgenic hair is hair which is sensitive to the androgens testosterone and dihydrotestosterone. Body hair, including facial hair that makes up the beard, is considered androgenic hair. As such, DHT is essential to the growth of this type of hair and avoiding DHT blockers will only ever be a benefit.
